Program:
Herb Gardening for Medicinal Needs - Herbalist, Shauna J. Hooker, will present a program on the benefits of herb gardening for medicinal needs. Before clinics or hospitals, herbs were extremely important in treating different ailments of the body and mind. Choosing which herbs to grow, companion plants, and ideas on how to use those herbs will be suggested. Shauna will discuss making herbal preparations for personal use. She will share seeds from her own garden.

Ecologically Sound Landscaping - Jason Aldrich, of UNDOING RUIN, will talk about how and why it is important to make our landscaping ecologically sound. He and his team have degrees in Sustainable Agriculture and Horticulture and are certified as Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professionals. They believe every action taken within the James River water shed affects the bay, and every species that lives there.

INFORMATION:
Dillard’s of Stony Point Fashion Park will provide the fashions for our RCGC models. Barbara Hollister is the fashion coordinator. 'Floral Interpretation of Fashions' by Floral Designer, Betty Ann Galway. She will make 5 floral designs to interpret models’ outfits. Lunch will be prepared by ladies of First Baptist Church.
